Arsenal City 5K Run

The 42nd Annual Arsenal City Run 5K in Watervliet is one of the oldest road races around. Proceeds from the race benefit the City’s Adopt -A-Family Holiday Program. Prize money is awarded to 5K participants. See here for the full breakdown of cash prizes. And more than a 5K, it is a day of fun for the whole family. Activities for the kids include bouncy bounce, face painting, balloon sculptures, and much more. We will have complimentary beer for participants (IDs will be checked), food vendors, live music and the awards ceremony. Race day is Sept. 22. Packet pickup begins at 8 a.m. A one-mile fun run starts at 9;30 and the 5K steps off at 10 a.m.
