Trek over four of Lake George’s tallest peaks on rugged\, remote trails\, climbing 9000 ft. \nWhere & when\nThe course will start at Camp Chingachgook on pilot knob rd. \nThe race will start at 6:30 am on Sunday\, October 5th \nRegistration\nDue to the challenging logistics of this event\, and the equally challenging aspects of the race itself\, we will be asking for prior ultra-trail experience for all participants. \nRelevant experience: \n\nRecent finishes at ultra distance trail races\nImpressive performances at sub ultra or non-trail races\n\n  \nCourse\nThe course will start at Camp Chingachgook and follow a dirt path to the Buck Mountain trail. Parking available near the beach. \nThe Course:\nMoreau Half\nThe course runs roughly 14 miles and 2700 feet of gain over winding technical singletrack. This is not a half-marathon for beginners. Most runners should expect to double their road half-marathon time. The course will be fully marked and there will be one aid station at Bonita Lake about 6 miles into the race.
